Art Conservation Services of Sarasota is a full service conservation
and restoration facility with 2,000 square feet of studio and
laboratory space. We have been serving the west coast of Florida
since 1990. We provide the following services: conservation and
restoration of paintings,
paper,
ethnographic objects and textiles,
terracotta artifacts, oriental art, Tibetan thankas,
photographs and
gilt surfaces,
fire and flood disaster restoration including
ozone treatments, and
consultative services.

Paintings:
Cleaning, consolidation, repair of rips and holes, relining of
canvases, cleaning and revarnishing, building of custom stretchers,
cradles and supports, fumigation and mold removal, etc.

Mending of tears and losses, water stain and acid burn removal,
foxing stain removal, deacidification, fumigation, delamination
from acid contaminated supports, etc.

Fire & Flood Disaster Restoration:
Our team will rush to your disaster site immediately. We will
inventory losses, develop a treatment plan and cost proposal,
package, remove and store the entire household collection of
art, artifacts, and precious articles including photo albums,
glass and china.
